00:00: This tutorial explains how to submit a Change Employee Action Request (EAR) form
00:03: within FileBound.
00:07: First make sure you are logged in two filebound.
00:11: once logged in click on the three lines in the left hand corner
00:17: Under the category section, click on Employee Action Request Project
00:22: Under the Form dropdown, click on the Employee Action Request Change
00:28: Select the effective date of the change request.
00:33: Under Reason for Change, select the reason.
00:36: For this example, we'll use Transfer as our reason.
00:41: If there is a Change in Compensation, select Yes, if not, select No
00:48: Enter the employee's last name
00:51: Enter the employee's first name
00:54: Select Yes or No for "Is this a request for a C-Level employee"
00:59: Select the current program the employee is
01:03: Enter in the employees current supervisor
01:07: Select the new program the employee will be going to
01:12: Enter in the new supervisor the employee will have
01:16: Enter in their current job title
01:20: Enter in their new job titl
01:23: From the drop down menu, select their current position
01:28: And then select their new position
01:32: Next select their current status
01:35: Then select their new status
01:39: Select Yes or No under is this a supervisor position
01:44: Click on either Exempt or Non-Exempt
01:47: Enter in the employees current salary amount
01:52: Enter in the fund code that the current salary to allocated to along with the
01:54: percentage
01:58: On the new pay rate side, select either Exempt or Non-Exempt
02:03: Enter in the new salary amount
02:07: Confirm the final numeric data entered is correct before submission.
02:12: Enter in the new fund code that the new salary will be allocated to along with the
02:14: percentage
02:18: Under cell phone stipend, select the phone stipend amount
02:24: Select Yes or No under "Employee Eligible for rehire"
02:29: Lastly, click on the submit EAR request button
02:34: You'll see a "Your form was successfully submitted" message after submission
